If you can indulge me one more rearranging of blog topics, I think I’ve finally got it figured out!

At heart, I’m a travel blogger.  It’s both my vocation and avocation, and while I once wrote about travel on this site, you can now find me in a couple of different places.

I’m the Travel Editor and Seattle contributor at PlanetEye Traveler, an online magazine that has great content every day, cool and interactive maps, great photography, and a whole lot of fun people writing about destinations and travel topics that they love.  I suggest that you head on over there to see what’s new.

You’ll find the rest of my travel writing on my new, personal travel site:  Traveling with MJ.   There I’ll share with you my passion for traveling the world — from Italy, France, and Croatia to Las Vegas, New York, and Chicago.  From cruising and luxury resorts, to spas, wine, and great food.

So here at MJ Speaks, I’ll be tackling other topics, although you’ll likely see some overlap.

This blog will cover the myriad other things that I enjoy in life.  From girly things like makeup, hair and shopping, to more cerebral things like what I’m reading, technology, and learning new stuff.  I’ll share discoveries like new shops, styles, and music, along with personal stuff like what’s motivating me and getting me out of bed every day.  I’ll post photos that I”ve taken, so that you can follow along on my quest to improve this skill.  And likely, you’ll find the occasional bits and pieces of useless information — the kind of stuff that we all carry around with us every day.

This is where I’ll get to be opinionated — to tell you what I think.  Whether it be a product review, an issue, or the meaning of love, life, and happiness. I hope that when MJ Speaks, you’ll want to listen — and speak back!
