Based on a true story, The Informant is a dark comedy that chronicle Mark Whitacre’s (played by Matt Damon) involvement as a whistle blower in the 1990’s lysine price-fixing case. Although the manic behavior of Whitacre made me chuckle, let’s not forget that this greedy price-fixing scheme cost us all a whole lot of money.
